Today was Savannah's last official day of preschool....SUCH an amazing school year for her and what a HUGE change in my lil girl!!! She was screaming crying and clinging to my leg for the first 2-3 weeks and now she runs in excited about the day and what they will do and sometimes even throws a fit when I am trying to pick her up!?!?! I am so thankful for the amazing teachers she had, Mrs.G was a godsend!! She took Savannah off my leg and under her wing the first day and Savannah clung to her for the longest time...Miss.Suze who helped her write her name for the very first time & kept encouraging her to do more writing and practice to get better...Mrs.Lauria who Savannah hit it off with right away and was always a "special friend" as Savannah called her! SUCH a wonderful experience to prepare her for kindergarten and get her out there into the world since before this year she was stuck at home with mom all the time!
She will go to the summer sessions they have which are 2 weeks long each and start after the 4th of July holiday! More like a summer camp than school but will be fun for her and keep her used to going to school thru the summer so this Fall isn't a BATTLE getting her on that bus daily for kindergarten!
