Emerson already 11 months old!?!?!

WOW...time flies....my baby will be 1 next month!! Amazing!!! I dont know if its the sleep deprived state you live in for the first year of your babies life or what but it seems to fly by in an instant!! I cannot believe Emmie will be 1 next month....and Savannah will be 5 in October and off to Kindergarten in September....AAAHHH!!!! where did my lil girl go? She is off to school soon and these special little days are numbered....wont be long before she wont even let me be seen at school I am sure! At least I will have Emmie for 4 more years but that will be gone in the blink of an eye as well I am sure!!! Desperately trying to soak it all in while I still can!!!!

WOW! Summer is flying by!

Since quitting my job I am never on the computer anymore...don't get me wrong I am not complaining but I was trying to be so good about updating this blog more frequently! Things are busy with with 5-7 kids here everyday hectic but fun too!!! Doing crafts and playgroups instead of data entry and document verification!!! Much more fun but WOW, how do people have more than 1 or 2 kids?!?!

Next Saturday is Old Home Days and we are excited...this past weekend we had 3 parties! The people who never go anywhere or have a social life at all and then BAM 3 parties in 2 days!!! Friday was a retirement surprise party for Dave's uncle Leigh...Saturday was a graduation party for our neighbor Janine's daughter and then following that was a block party given by the Morgan's who live on Main St and I watch their 2 kids FT this summer...lots of fun at all the parties and the girls did really good at being up late, didnt sleep late like we hoped but oh well!!!

HAPPY 4th of July!!!

Spent the day breaking in our new smoker I picked up at a garage sale for $20, brand new!??! Smoked a turkey and it turned out REALLY good...went to the parade up in Caz with the girls, they loved it!!! Passing on fireworks tonight since Savannah HATES them and Emmie is an early to bed girl..looking forward to next year when they will be bigger and hopefully last till the fireworks happen!!! Maybe the whole family could come out to spend the 4th here again, that was a GREAT memory!!!
