Desk Makeover!

So, Emmie was starting kindergarten and she decided she needed a desk for the loads of homework she would be bringing home ;) 

I scored this beautiful antique solid hardwood desk for $25!!!! 

 

little sanding, pink paint and personal details to match her room later.....

 

she loves her diamond monogram, now just need to revamp her chair to match!!

4th grade & Kindergarten!?!

 

WOW time flies........when did they grow up?!? Savannah is headed to Mrs. Franco's 4th grade class & Emerson to Mrs. Smith's kindergarten class.

When they got home I loved to hear about their day filled with such excitment!!! Waiting for them were 1st day giant cookies! Its been a tradition since Savannah started school and Emmie was sure to remind me she needed her own and balloons to go with it!
